The increased requirement for staff to work in a variety of fragile states (currently including Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia, Pakistan, Syria and Libya) has prompted the need for a clear robust psychological review and support process to be fully established and applied throughout the Department for International Development (DFID/the Contracting Authority).The process intends to prepare and support staff taking up postings, at post, and on return, ensuring their resilience is tested, they are psychologically ready and their overall well-being is considered.The successful Supplier will be required to provide the following:— A flexible, consistent service pre, during and post overseas postings for all Recipients;— Online tool/resilience questionnaire;— Face-to-face consultations;— Formal reviews;— Annual reviews;— Debriefs;— Counselling referrals; and— Regular MI reporting.
