RFI for Overnight Short Breaks with Outreach Support Service for Children and Young People with Disabilities (0-18 years old) in Herefordshire

Herefordshire Council has a statutory duty under the Children Act 1989 and the Breaks for Carers of Disabled Children Regulations 2011 to provide short breaks for disabled children and their families.

Herefordshire Council is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) for the purpose of establishing whether there are any organisations that are interested in providing Overnight Short Breaks with Outreach Support Service for Children and Young People with Disabilities (0-18 years old) in Herefordshire.

For this RFI, we are keen hear from providers who can deliver the overnight short break services from a property owned by the council. The service will also incorporate an outreach service to deliver support within in the child's family home and/or in the community.

Interested suppliers are invited to participate by completing a short questionnaire (RFI document) which will be used for information-gathering purposes and will help the Council understand the current market and guide the final service specification and service design.
