Descriptions
The Department currently use a number of digital platforms to deliver services to its clients and partners. This includes the issue of emails. These platforms require specialist and dedicated email relay services to enhance the services. The email communications are system generated from a number of email addresses and from up to five different domains.The service will be handling transactional and non-marketing communications for the Department’s digital services. Mails will be created on internal systems and relayed to the email provider via API.The Department requires this project to be undertaken for the following reasons:•To ensure that the growing use of the department’s digital platforms have a reliable, scalable and purpose built mail delivery infrastructure in place.•To ensure that the peaks and general uncertainty in demand at varying times of the month can be catered for without impacting on the corporate email service.•To ensure that mail deliverability reports can be generated and reviewed.
