Rutland Children's Home
Descriptions
Rutland County Council is developing a new model of care to provide in-county residential and outreach care for children, addressing the growing demand and complexity of needs of local children. This approach aims to keep children with complex needs close to home, education and health services, improving outcomes and reducing reliance on costly care placements at a distance from a child's home. The model utilises RCC initiatives delivered by Living Well Rutland, the Health & Care Collaborative and our Transport transformation programmes to create a network of care around the child and family. This initiative is part of a strategic approach to provide local, integrated care for children with complex needs, supported by funding from the Department for Education. Before commissioning refurbishment works, the Council is seeking early feedback from potential partners who will run the home and deliver the service to ensure the building layout maximises the effective delivery of care and meets required outcomes. This includes inviting expressions of interest and expert advice on optimising the use of available space, supported by the enclosed floorplan. Interested suppliers are welcome to view the opportunity, register an expression of interest and respond to the soft market questionnaire located via the portal link below: https://procontract.due-north.com/Advert?advertId=b242f78c-ff78-f011-813a-005056b64545&p=527b4bbd-5c58-e511-80ef-000c29c9ba21 The deadline for submission of questionnaires is 12noon 12th September 2025.
