This Coastal Erosion & Flood Risk Management (CEFRM) Study in Sligo Bay will focus on two Areas of Particular Interest (AoPI ): Strandhill and Easkey. The Study will involve issues such as: Review and assessment of existing information; Surveys including those of existing coastal protection structures; Preparation of detailed current and future scenario coastal change maps; Detailed risk assessment; Options and feasibility assessment; Preparation of CEFRM Plan; Economic assessmentof benefits and costs; Reporting and Recommendations. The study will guide and inform Sligo County Council as to the optimum decisions to be made in addressing the issues of concern at the 2 AoP1.
