Descriptions
Scoil Naomh Cholmcille SNS consists of a single school building which is located on Newbrook Rd, Grange, Co. Dublin. The whole school building has an approximate floor area of 2200m². The scope of the works will be as follows:•Decommissioning, stripping out and removal from site of 1no. existing oil-fired boiler, burner, pump, controls associated with the oil boiler, oil supply line pipework, etc.) in the existing boilerhouse. The existing oil storage tank and underground oil supply line to the boiler house shall be removed. 1no.•Supply and installation of 1no. new gas fired boiler, gas slamshut valves, gas detection system, gas pipework, pumps, controls, plant room pipework, etc.) in the boilerhouse.•Supply and installation of a new mains gas supply to the boilerhouse to serve the new heating centre from LPG gas storage tank compound.•All external trenching for the new mains gas supply from the tank compound to the boilerhouse. All trenching works to be reinstated and made good as per existing finishes.•All associated electrical works for the project. New gas fired boiler shall be wired and controlled from the existing MCC panel within existing boiler house.•Mechanical contractor to allow for the installation of a new water softener within existing boiler house as per the schematic drawing.•All builders’ works associated with the above. See ‘Builders Work Schedule’ in ‘Volume C1 – Pricing Schedule’ for further details. •All associated mechanical works as indicated on the tender documents.•All other items as indicated in drawings and detailed in specifications.
