The purpose of this project is the review, re-design and replacement of the current Radian WAN infrastructure.Radian is currently going through a digital transformation programme and therefore require a fast, flexible and secure network which enables the new technology that we are implementing.The current network (see Appendix B) is one that has grown mainly by acquisition or merger and as such has been “bolted” together and grown organically rather than designed. Radian currently uses multiple providers for connectivity and again this should be reviewed as part of this project to ensure best fit and best value.As part of the review, replacing, renewing or extending the (Multiprotocol Label Switching) MPLS to other sites is also a requirement. Radian are looking to use a SD-WAN approach to reduce 3rd party responsibilities but all technologies will be considered.
