The primary purpose of this PIN is to alert the market to an anticipated competitive procurement process by Shepway District Council in connection with the Servicing & Maintenance of its Passenger & Mobility Lifts.The Council owns 15 passenger lifts and 26 Mobility Lifts (Stair Lifts), including 2 Corporate Facilities.The current contract in place for the Service & Maintenance of the lifts expires on 31.5.2018 and it is the intention of the Council to undertake a competitive tendering procurement for the renewal of the contract.All contractors interested should be aware that the competitive procurement exercise aims to award the contracts for the 1.6.2018 start.The tendering exercise will being undertaken using the electronic tendering system‘Kent Business Portal’ (https://www.kentbusinessportal.org.uk). Interested suppliers will need to register on the system in order to be able to participate when the ITT is published, registration is free.
