Langstane Housing Association (“Langstane”) is following a single stage open procedure to appoint a Consultant with the relevant knowledge, skills and experience to conduct a stock condition survey on our behalf. The desired outcomes from this current stock condition survey are set out in detail in the Instructions for Tendering, but in summary Langstane is procuring the stock condition survey in order to: -Agree an up to date baseline for Scottish Housing Quality Standard (SHQS) -Fill in gaps in knowledge with regards to Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing (EESSH) -Validate existing component lifecycle data and collate data for missing components (primarily communal and external) -Provide information on the safety of Langstane’s stock – in particular relating to cladding, window safety and fire safety -Provide 5 year and 30 year programmes of work based on priority -There is also a requirement to collect supplementary information during the survey work
