Wirral Council is looking for Strategic Housing Delivery Partners to help deliver a minimum of 100 Extra Care Housing units over a three year period (2014-2017). These could be new build, remodeled, refurbished, or a mix of all three.Provisional target areas for delivery are:— South West Wirral— Birkenhead & Tranmere— WallaseyIt is envisaged that Wirral could potentially work with a number of partners and even a consortium of partners to deliver extra care for the future.We are keen to work with organisations which:— Have the organisational, professional, financial and technical standing to deliver.— Can bring to our developments the latest practice and expertise in the field.— Can work collaboratively with us on specification developments.— Are able to identify and/or acquire asset opportunities for the delivery of Extra Care.— Are committed to building and investing in Extra Care Housing in Wirral.— Can deliver energy efficient, high quality and accessible homes.— Listen to and engage with communities.
