Descriptions

Infinite Renewables Group Limited (IRGL) are seeking quotations for the supply and installation of a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) unit as part of their GSCS (Generation, Storage, Consumption, Supply) project. The project is in receipt of grant funding from WEFO under the West Wales and the Valleys ERDF programme. The IRGL GSCS project plans to deliver small scale renewable energy schemes on seven industrial sites in South and West Wales and the Valleys. Each site comprises a community of one or more consumers of gas and/or electricity and contains one or more existing or potential low carbon energy technologies. It is envisaged that by connecting and integrating the consumers, low carbon technologies and battery facilities via a micro-grid for each site there will be significant energy cost savings and greenhouse gas emission reductions for the industrial communities served. The CHP for this tender will be located at The Royal Mint, Llantrisant, CF72 8YT. A suitable foundation and utilities connections will be provided on site prior to delivery of the CHP unit provided by the nominated Balance of Plant Contractor.
