The Council are seeking to award a contract for a duration of 3 years. The aim of the service is to reduce health inequalities by delivering a culturally tailored Tier 2 weight management service that meets the specific needs of Black African and Caribbean populations in Lewisham.
The successful provider will look to improve access and engagement with weight management support through inclusive, community-based delivery models and culturally appropriate programme content.
The new provider should aim to empower individuals and communities to make sustainable lifestyle changes that support healthy weight, improved wellbeing, and long-term health outcomes.
