Wakefield Council invites tenders for provision of the targeted impartial information advice and guidance service(TIIAG) which will discharge Wakefield Council’s duties set out in the Education and Skills Act 2008 enabling, encouraging and assisting young people to participate in education and training with a specific emphasis being on identifying and supporting those 16 and 17 years old who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) including those who are NEET up to 25 with special educational needs and/or disabilities and care leavers.The service provider must provide TIIAG through a digital and e-enabled service along with a telephone advice line service for information and support services for these service users and must also collect and record information in accordance with the national client caseload information system management information requirement and report this information to the department for education monthly.
