Tate Galleries - Staff Onsite Food Solution
Descriptions
Until recently, Tate operated a served hot food canteen at Tate Britain and Tate Modern, serving an average of 100 meals per day at both sites, both of which have now closed. As an interim solution, Tate has invested in 2 smart fridges which enable staff to self serve ready meals, sandwiches, salads, snacks etc from the machines which are filled 3x weekly. These smart fridges have been installed at Tate Britain and Tate Modern to a good level of take-up.
Tate is committed to exploring whether it is possible to provide a food offer at all 5 sites as described above, and would like to understand from the market as to whether this is feasible with one integrated service provider, and if so, the options available to us. We therefore invite you to complete the below questions which will help us shape our formal approach to the market, intended to take place in late August/early September.
