The Trust is appointing an external auditors who will effectively and efficiently meet the requirements of the ‘Audit Code for NHS Foundation Trusts’ (Monitor, revised 2011) and any subsequent revisions. In particular (but not exclusively), The successful service provider will be required to demonstrate how they would meet:Section 2, General principles underpinning the audit.Section 4, Audit process.Section 5, Audit reporting.Section 6, Quality reports.The appointment of the Trust's current auditor expires at the completion of the audit for the year ending 31.3.2015. The Trust is therefore seeking to appoint an external auditor for the year ending 31.3.2016 with a view to reappointment for up to 5 years in total, subject to satisfactory performance.
