Tender for new IT Infrastructure for Buckingham Town Council To meet Buckingham Town Council's Financial Regulations this is a 'Sealed Tender' bid and must be provided in a marked, sealed envelope and will be opened by the Town Clerk and in the presence of a Member of the Council. The core objectives are: •To provide the Town Council with a new upgraded IT infrastructure ensuring that all necessary information is transferred from the old system. •At hand over, the IT infrastructure will be fully functioning, this could include a phased changeover of different parts of the project. Training for all staff must be provided before the new infrastructure is in place. •Ensure that the IT infrastructure is good value for money to maintain long term, whilst providing all of the features necessary to function well in all areas. •To provide the Town Council with a service to assist in the maintenance, safety, security and upgrades to the IT infrastructure over the full length of the contract. It is expected that all designs will consider the need for documents to be stored securely in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and General Data Protection Regulations.
