Southend-on-Sea Borough Council is seeking proposals for the provision of Works to Deliver Crematorium Memorial Scheme and Cremated Remains Plots. The Council is proposing to introduce facilities that will be utilised for the interment of cremated remains above ground and for mini graves which will be used for the interment of cremated remains in its current Crematorium and Cemeteries. Two potential spaces have been identified within the cemeteries and crematorium that may be suitable for development to meet the Council’s requirements.
