Wootton Parish Council in Northampton is wishing to secure a grounds maintenance contract on green open space throughout the parish. The Council owns most of the open space which consists of: •A village green •Football & sports pitches •A memorial garden •Two nature walks •A pocket park •Pathways •Hedgerows Wootton Parish Council is looking for a contractor to mow green open space with both a gang mower for pitches & paths and box mower for the village green. The grounds maintenance contract will also include annually flailing hedges and regular white lining of football pitches. The ideal contractor must be local and must be able to demonstrate experience working within the local government sector and examples of such. The contractor will be required to provide evidence of access to machinery to carry out the work and must comply with latest enactments, regulations and working rules relating to health & safety. The prospective contractor must have a passion for quality and be flexible to accommodate the requirements of the council.
