The Queens Road bus depot roof has a number of components that have exceeded their lifecycle expectancy, have failed, are leaking and are causing a number of issues including unsafe working conditions, further damage to building components and health and safety risks through the blowing off of brittle roof lights.
The failed components need to be replaced urgently and the roof's integrity restored, this includes up to 500 roof lights, replacements of gutter linings and repointing of coping stones.
TfGM required a suitably experienced supplier to undertake these works.
