Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales is seeking to tender for the thatching of five historic buildings at the St Fagans National History Museum.There are three existing buildings to be re-thatched:Kennixton FarmhouseHendre’r Ywydd Uchaf FarmhouseAbernodwydd FarmhouseThe two new buildings to be thatched are:Llys Rhosyr Building BLlys Rhosyr Building AThe Historic Buildings Unit based at St Fagans are re-constructing the Princes Court at St Fagans National History Museum based on the ruins found at Llys Rhosyr near Newborough on Anglesey which date back to 1237.Further information can be obtained by emailing Michael Evans at the address aboveNOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
