The London Borough of Barnet seeks to procure a contractor to deliver Action for Silk Stream Main Contractor Works in The Meads and Lyndhurst Park HA8 9HE.
Improvement works are proposed to be undertaken at Lyndhurst Park and The Meads Open Space. These are four green spaces located along the Burnt Oak Brook where a range of environmental enhancement activities are proposed.
The key objectives of the project are to reduce local flood risk, improve water quality within the brook, and enhance the area's biodiversity. These improvements will also contribute to the amenity value of the green spaces, making them more enjoyable and resilient for the local community
