Descriptions
The council invites operators to tender to join a Dynamic Purchasing System (Known as a DPS) for the provision of transportation of service users (children and adult service) within Staffordshire. From 1 September 2019 the DPS will be used to supply transport services using hackney carriages, private hire vehicles and Passenger Carrying Vehicles (PCV) for children with special education needs and children in mainstream education from home to school and assist with transport needs for adults with disabilities and mental health issues. In order to be able to compete for business with the Council, suppliers must first be accepted to join the DPS. They will then be notified automatically of opportunities to bid for contracts through call off competitions. Refer to the procurement documentation for the full specification.
