Connectivity in the Pennine region and across the operating area of TransPennine Trains Limited "TPT" can be ‘patchy’ as you pass between inner city, urban and significantly rural areas with 4G/5G reception being poor and not providing suitable bandwidth for the modern traveller. TPT want to engage the market to understand the options available for improving connectivity before defining the requirements and determining the best route to market.
