Services for the provision of Research and Evaluation in the following areas:Lot 1: Commercial, Economic and Social Impact Assessment and Analysis— Large scale economic and social impact assessments and surveys;— Analysis at national, regional and local levels;— International comparisons;— Research into economic and social impact on various groups and communities;— Shareholder rights, employee engagement and executive pay;— Diversity on Boards;— Business and Human Rights;— Attitude/opinion polling.Lot 2: Financial, Regulatory Economic and Econometric Forecasting Analysis— Design, production and population of econometric and statistical models;— Value added analysis;— Benchmarking;— Company law and corporate governance;— Debt and Equity finance analysis;— Supply and demand in individual finance markets;— Costs and benefits of regulation and its compliance;Lot 3: Programme and Pilot EvaluationReviews of individual programmes and pilots to evaluate:— The design, planning and implementation of the programme;— The impact of the programme on the target group;— Value for money analysis;— Cost benefit analysis;— How well it meets the policy and priorities;— Formative evaluation of policy context and process.Lot 4: Comparative EvaluationReviews aimed at providing a more strategic view of performance;— Reviewing the appropriateness of programmes, policies and priorities in providing the services required by Government, target groups and other stakeholders;— Reviewing the efficiency and effectiveness of processes in designing, planning and implementing programmes, policies and priorities;— Evaluation of all or a number of programmes aimed at a particular group;— Meta-analysis of evaluations;— Systematic Reviews and Rapid Evidence Assessments;— Developing the evaluation and monitoring framework for a project or programme.Lot 5: Thematic Analysis— Short term projects focussing on specific policy areas;— Literature reviews;— Horizon scanning/exploratory research;— Bespoke think pieces;— Developing theories to respond to a strategic question with a clear evidence base.Lot 6: Behavioural and Experimental Research— Random control trials and experimental methods;— Quasi-experimental methods;— Behavioural and/or decision making research and analysis;— Synthesis of behavioural science evidence.Lot 7: Specialist research and advice in the remuneration area— Valuation and benchmarking of pay and other benefits;— Job evaluation and pay structure design;— Assessing and responding to recruitment and retention and staff motivation issues;— Case studies, surveys and literature reviews in the remuneration area;— UK private sector practice on labour market and reward issues.Lot 8: Pensions— Actuarial pension scheme valuation and assessment;— Comparison of pensions scheme benefits and reward packages;— Pension trends and policy in the UK public and private sectors.
