Warwick District Council (WDC) is looking to procure a contractor for its Housing Repairs and Voids maintenance works to its 5,500 homes. The current contract due to end 31st March 2026 was let for for 4 years, and an option to extend for a further 4 years was also taken. For information on the current contract, please view our contract register located here: https://www.warwickdc.gov.uk/downloads/download/1250/contracts_register WDC is currently looking for feedback from the market to help refine its requirements, as well as any additional considerations and opportunities that should be included within the new contract. In addition, the Council has made an ambitious commitment to ensure that all of its contracted services are net-zero carbon by 2030. We would like to engage with suppliers to establish how feasible this commitment is within this particular market. We are currently exploring options regarding: o Contract model and length o Budget suitability o Distribution of risk o Specified requirement feasibility o Innovation opportunities o Suitable performance measures To help us understand these options, we would like interested suppliers to complete and return the attached Housing Repairs and VOIDS Market Engagement Questions. Please express interest in this project to access and download the questions. Completed question documents should be sent as an attachment to correspondence by no later than 12noon Tuesday 15th October. If you would also be interested in discussing your responses, a Premarket Engagement event will be operated as virtual meetings via MSTeams. It will be organised for Tuesday 22nd October 2024, exact timings to be confirmed. Supplier attendance will be awarded a place on a first come-first basis.
