.The works primarily involve:The design and construction of 3no precast concrete shelters as detailed on Dwg no. 13311-CD-01 23A. The concept is the shelters are to be constructed of sand blasted precast concrete sections placed onto a cast insitu concrete foundation slab. The undertaking strata is beach won sands and shingle. The lighting is to co-ordinate/compliment with the Pont-Y-Ddraig bridge lighting system, is to be marine grade and the seating is to be constructed of recycled plastic lats whilst the roof is to be of a durable marine grade fabric. The existing surfacing is to be made good at completion.-Feature Lighting to be integrated into soffit and supplied by LTP Integration & Products in order to co-ordinate this with the Pont-Y-Ddraig bridge lighting system.It is important that the works commence on site straight after the Easter holiday period (04/04/16) with sufficient precast concrete units having been cast to achieve this date with all works complete 10 weeks after this.The Contractor will provide off loading, re-loading and placing of the precast units to their location of the work. Mobilisation and production are a key factor in considering programme.
