XML - XML authoring system for the preparation and editing of Revised Acts (administrative consolidations)
Descriptions
The first requirement is the provision of and XML authoring system with database or other content management system to hold and manage versions of legislation, with XML and PDF outputs in new format of legislation. This requirement also includes any necessary software, hardware or specification, if software or hardware is to be sourced separately.The second requirement is the provision of XML and PDF outputs for the above in old format of legislation (XSLT available, this module to be integrated into authoring system).The Commission will also require same day office hours support by telephone, email and remote access.The Commission also requires a change of presentation in relation to “Updated to” date involving integration with the Legislation Directory, a database of legislative effects continuously updated.The Commission would like consideration of use of a thin client model for researchers and editors.
