1.Gwynedd County Council and Anglesey Council are responsible for the maintaining the Structures and Costal Maintenance for the counties areas.2. The Structures and Costal Maintenance Framework Agreement is the process elected by Gwynedd Council and Anglesey Council to assist in the maintaining Councils Structures assets. The structures assets in this area comprises of;a.bridges,b.subways,c.underpasses,d.tunnels,e.retaining walls,f.culverts,g.footbridges,h.sea defences,i.promenades,j.slipways,k.piers,l.groynes,m.revetmentsn.and other associated structures.3.Typical maintenance work may include the following:•Repairing and rebuilding masonry walls.•Replacing damaged kerbs.•Removal of vegetation.•Access equipment for inspections•Associated traffic management for all construction works and inspections, including road closures where necessary.•Concrete repairs.•Timber repairs to structures.•Pressure pointing and grouting.•Hand Pointing.•Working below water and in tidal conditions.4.The value of the works through the framework shall be between £0 - £50,000 any work above this threshold shall follow Gwynedd Council Procurement rules and policy and Welsh Assembly Government Guidance.5.Envisage yearly value of the Framework is expected to be in the range of £900,000.
