Galway County Council wish to shortlist Contractors to perform site investigation works within their jurisdiction. The purpose of this site investigation contract is to determine the ground conditions on the site for the design of pavement foundations, street furnishings and pavement drainage systems. This contract will involve the investigation of the existing ground conditions and locating of underground services. Contracts will require the excavation and reinstatement of a number of predetermined slit trenches and/or trial pits along with GPR/topographical surveying and associated ancillary works. There will be similar work packages that may be issued over the coming 24 months.
