Descriptions
This is an approved list of transport operators that will be commissioned via the council's web-based Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). The approved list is open to any operator to join at any time, upon satisfying the entry criteria. More information is available at www.sproc.net. The Council is seeking to procure suitable transport provision that is safe, secure and reliable; to transport Children to and from school or other educational establishments, respite/short break provision or any other location where transport has been authorised by the council. A significant proportion of those children transported will be for children who have a wide variety of special needs including learning, physical or behavioural difficulties. The service may also include general ad-hoc taxi services as required. The estimated value is based on a total of 3 years of average expenditure, with individual contract values being subject to end user activity.
