The supply of 7 vehicles to the West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (Metro) fit for purpose under the following operating conditions— Door to door transport with frequent stops;— Operation of a registered local bus service;— Access to residential streets and premises' car parks;— Vehicles in service 10 hours per day – seven days per week;— Estimated annual mileage of 30 000 miles (50 000 km);— The vehicles must be sufficiently robust to cope with the hilly terrain within West Yorkshire.A low floor vehicle is required; the step height will be no greater than 250 mm with the vehicle on level ground and with the suspension lowered.
