Accommodation and Support Services for Male Victims of Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence

Cardiff Council, in partnership with the Vale of Glamorgan Council, intends to commission a range of housing and support services for male victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence across the region during the coming months, subject to the current Covid-19 pandemic restrictions being lifted. It is proposed that there will be one contract for accommodation and support services across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan region. This will be delivered by either a single provider, a lead provider with sub-contractors or a consortium. It is intended that the services will include, but may not be limited to the provision of advice; information and signposting; management of Police referrals; supported accommodation; floating support, including assistance throughout court proceedings and therapeutic support.
