Adult Eating Disorder Service- PSR Most Suitable Provider

The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to alert potential suppliers to an opportunity in relation to provision of Adult Eating Disorder services for Leicestershire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LPT), as the Lead Provider for Adult Eating Disorders (East Midlands). The successful Subcontractor will accept NHS patients detained under the mental health act as well as those admitted informally, and will deliver services in line with the national specification for eating disorders (adults) available at: https://www.england.nhs.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Specialised-eating-disorders-service.pdf. The service will offer up to 12 inpatient beds. The Commissioner presently expect the service will be best served by a single supplier partner. The initial fixed term contract duration shall be 1 year from April 2025. LPT require service commencement by the preferred bidder from April 2025. The procurement timeline will require the successful bidder to mobilise within 6months of contract award, all required licensing and regulatory registrations will need to be in place prior to service commencement. The supplier shall operate under its own CQC registration.
