1. Newcastle under Lyme Borough Council (NuLBC/The Council) wishes to invite suitably experienced and qualified consultants to undertake an assessment of its Green Belt land. This is intended to be a full update to the Council's current Green Belt Assessment. The assessment should also include and engage with national policy / guidance on Grey Belt land This may include the identification of any Grey Belt areas of land to assist officers in decision taking on planning applications, and in due course, the prospective preparation of an immediate review of the emerging Newcastle Local Plan (2020-2040) scheduled (at the time of writing) for adoption in December 2025.
