Descriptions
The Contractor is required to provide pricing to allow for the design, supply, install and commissioning of 166kW photovoltaic system on the roof of the Limerick Institute of Technology, as indicated on the drawing. The successful contractor is to provide design calculations, these must be issued to the Engineer as part of their tender package.The contractor must also include for all modifications and alterations to existing distribution boards as necessary for the full operation of the PV system. The contractor must include for all associated wiring and containment for installation of the system. The contractor must allow for all associated electrical works, builders works, and commissioning of same, as well as hiring in of scaffold, hoists, lifts, etc. Ahead of submitting their tender proposal, contractors must visit the site, through prior engagement with the Engineer. The contractor must include for a structural survey of the existing roof and ensure the roof can take the load of the new PV array.
