Arch Development Projects Ltd is seeking to appoint a Principal Contractor to work with to deliver the design and construction of Bedlington Town Centre (‘the scheme’). The scheme is a retail led investment by Arch to help regenerate a prime town centre site, which has been vacant for a number of years. The principal contractor will be tasked to take the Scheme from RIBA Work Stage 5 to 7. The scheme consists of, but is not limited to, design and new build construction of 12 retail units totalling c.55,000 ft2 with residential units above totalling c.6,000 ft2, earthworks, retaining structures, demolition of existing buildings on Market Place, grouting an adit, primary utility infrastructure, highways, car parking and landscaping on a site of approximately 3.7 acres located in Bedlington, Northumberland.
