Birmingham City Council is preparing to launch its Birmingham Municipal Housing Trust (BMHT) — Off-Site Manufactured Housing development programme and requires a turnkey service model, with a principal contractor carrying out the design and construction of up to 94 new residential dwellings at 10 individual sites across Birmingham. Prior to commencing the procurement exercise, the Council is undertaking market engagement to seek views from suppliers on its proposed outline performance specification and strategy for off-site manufactured homes. The market engagement period will operate from 23 September 2020 until Friday 6 November 2020 and suppliers will be required to register their interest in the event and will be required to complete a questionnaire.
