The CCGs have been considering arrangements for the future commissioning and delivery of affordable and sustainable healthcare fit to meet the future needs of their communities in line with the 5 Year Forward View.Informed by feedback from patients, the CCGs have concluded that moving towards an accountable care system model is the right model for Bradford. The CCGs intend to work with local healthcare providers and the Council to determine the scope, outcomes and structure of the model through a structured collaboration process. The model will deliver community services, integrated with primary care and local acute services.The CCGs anticipate a contract with a single entity but this will be explored and tested as part of the structured collaboration process. The intent is for all health provider members to have responsibility for delivery, system management and sharing income risk through governance arrangements; this will be reviewed in the structured collaboration process.
