The proposed development works to the Brewhouse Building to facilitate its conversion to a range of uses including Education, Research and Development, and / or Office facility consists of :• The retention and re-use of the Brewhouse Building (approx. 4,530 sq.m.), a 2 / 3 and part 4 and 5 storey concrete framed building.• The demolition of a two storey steel framed extension to the south of the original “Bauhaus” structure.(855sq.m. ground and 110 sq.m. Second Floor.) • Construction of a new 220 sq.m. penthouse level over the northern section of the building.• Insertion of new floors in voids at first and second floor level to create additional floor space within the existing building envelope.Replacement of part of the existing roof structure• This building is to be constructed to a L.E.E.D Gold certified standard
