In December 2020 Members agreed the case for change and the themes and focus of the programme. Further work has taken place to develop these and a revised structure was shared with Executive Members in May 2021. Members will sign off the business case for the programme, including the resourcing required for delivery, in early August 2021 with the expectation that full delivery will commence from November 2021 onwards. Further work now needs to be carried out to finalise the programme plan and resourcing and to engage staff, customers and partners more widely in shaping this and the future vision for the organisation. The council is seeking a delivery partner to support this planning and engagement work between July and November 2021. Following agreement of the business case the council may then seek a supplier or suppliers to support programme delivery to 2023/24 and reserves the right to extend this contract by up to an additional six months to support the next stages of programme delivery.
