Children's Centre Outreach Market Engagement

Descriptions

Westminster City Council (WCC) will shortly be running a competitive tendering exercise to award a new contract for Outreach services to support family hubs and children's centres.

Outreach is an essential part of the service design delivered from the Council's three Children's Centre Hubs. It's purpose is to target and reach the most vulnerable families who without it are less likely to engage, and deliver a single integrated Early Help offer in WCC. Outreach plays a pivotal role in working alongside the Early Help team in delivering their priorities, supporting early intervention and prevention, and heading-off costlier (human and financial) escalations; it is essential to the overall effectiveness of WCC Children's Centres, Family Hubs, and multi-agency partnership working in the field of Early Help.

The provider will be expected to deliver the following services:

a high-quality outreach service to families.

a befriending volunteer support Service for families with children aged up to 5 years

an Early Help volunteering service for families with children aged 0-15
