"This is a Preliminary Market Engagement Notice for the Provision of Community Based Reablement and Intermediate Care Service (ICS) Reablement Service

Walsall Council will be commissioning a contract for Community and Intermediate Care Service Reablement (Pathway 1.)

This reflects our continued commitment to supporting residents to regain independence following illness, injury, or hospital discharge. The service will play a key role in both admission avoidance and safe, timely hospital discharge pathways, ensuring people receive the right support at home as soon as they are medically fit. By working collaboratively across health and social care, we aim to deliver a seamless, person-centred service that promotes recovery, reduces reliance on long-term care, and enhances quality of life within the community

The soft market testing exercise is intended to allow interested organisations with appropriate experience to outline their views and ideas about the future provision of Community Based Reablement and Intermediate Care Service (ICS) Reablement Service
