The contractor will explore existing and new options, including governance structures, with 6-10 partners from across sectors. They will work with Commission staff to share good practice and identify lessons for policy and practice. The successful contractor will use the Scottish Government’s Land Rights and Responsibilities Statement and the associated protocols to guide what these approaches could look like. The contractor will provide practical hands-on advice and guidance to the relevant parties to explore opportunities to build in social and community benefit to their carbon sequestration initiatives in collaboration with the community. This approach will build understanding of opportunities and challenges and support practical change to deliver community benefit and community wealth building.
