NHS Eastern Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) NHS South Cheshire CCG and NHS Vale Royal CCG, are tendering for the provision of 6 local community mental health crisis beds. This service will support patients who require short term input supported by Cheshire and Wirral home treatment team. The NHS long term plan focusses on the further development of crisis support closer to the individuals community and this is service will be part of the CCGs commitment in providing community based support for those experiencing crisis/mental distress.The ethos of the service will be to support individual to return home as soon as possible linking them to other services that will provide ongoing longer term support especially through third sector or early intervention support services through the local Authority.
