Cotoneaster species were originally introduced to the UK from Asia in the 19th century as anornamental garden species. Since then, these species have spread widely across the UK including to important limestone crags, cliffs, slopes and dry grasslands in north Wales.As part of the Limestone Restoration Project, this contract will aim to control non-native cotoneaster species on part of a limestone grassland Site of Special Scientific Interest at Gogarth Nature Reserve.The contractor will use the treatment key below to determine the appropriate treatment method to control the cotoneaster in the work area.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=138456.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
