To provide design, engineering, maintenance support as required to a wave energy research and development barge. The barge is situated in the the Milford Haven until July 2018.This support should include:Fabrication support and facilities.Aluminium welding and fabrication.Mechanical engineering support.Electrical engineering support.Mechanical and electrical design support.Naval architect support.Berthing and slip facilities (preferably covered).Availability of resources to work onsite whilst the barge is at her moorings in the haven.Provision for boat transfers to move personnel to/from the barge.The barge contains the following electrical equipment:generatorscontrol systemsremote monitoring systemsconditioning equipmentcommunications equipmentThe contract will be a service agreement and work allocated on a call off basis up to a maximum value of £400k.An optional 6 month extension past July 2018.
