Descriptions
The scheme will provide a new highway link extending the A99 Millennium Way, Lurgan from its junction with Malcolm Road/ Russell Drive to the junction of Flush Place/ Banbridge Road/ Gilford Road. The Millennium Way Extension will consist of a 2 lane road with right turning facilities to various accesses, footways and cycleway. The scheme will include upgrading of the existing roundabout junction at Banbridge Road/ Gilford Road/ Flush Place and, also the Millennium Way/ Malcolm Road/ Russell Drive signal control junction. Each junction will incorporate controlled pedestrian crossing facilities. LED street lighting will be provided throughout the scheme. Alterations will be carried out to utilities' equipment to facilitate the new link.
