Descriptions
London Borough of Haringey (‘Haringey’) is establishing a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to procure and commission semi independent accommodation and support service for young adults in the borough. This will cover the provision of services to young adults leaving care and to other young people in respect of whom Haringey have parental responsibility towards and who are in need of various level of support or accommodation. These services relate to the statutory duties of local authorities under the Housing Act 1996 Part VII (as amended by the Homelessness Act 2002) and Care Act 2015 to provide accommodation and support to vulnerable young adults leaving care aged 16 -18 years and extended up to 25 year olds with disabilities.
