The overall scope of the project is to: • Identify, collect and review the available evidence base regarding all trigger thresholds used throughout ADB and provide evidence and knowledge of international examples of regulatory approaches and guidance; • Review the current trigger thresholds, including the purpose group classification system, in ADB including further/alternative provisions to enable The Authority to make informed future policy proposals; • Collect and develop evidence and an assessment methodology to support review of the height threshold for relevant buildings as defined in Regulation 7(4) of the Building (Amendment) Regulations 2018.
