Descriptions
This contract is for the provision of domestic, recycling and skip waste disposal across a number of NHS organisations in Gloucestershire and Herefordshire. For the purpose of this Pre-Qualification brief they are collectively described as ‘Gloucestershire and Herefordshire Health and Social Care Organisations' (GHHSC) however it should be noted that no such organisation exists. The organisations that are included in this are: - Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trusts (GHNHSFT) - acute Trusts with 2 main district general hospitals and some outlying clinics in Gloucestershire. - Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Trusts – community hospitals, health centres and clinics in Gloucestershire. - 2gether NHS Foundation Trusts – mental health Trusts, with hospitals and clinics in Gloucestershire. - Wye Valley NHS Trusts – community hospitals, health centres and clinics in Herefordshire. - NHS England Primary Care in Gloucestershire – GPs, community dental clinics and high street pharmacies in Gloucestershire. This contract will provide for the collection, transportation and disposal of domestic and recycling wastes arising from healthcare premises across the county. Wastes will include those of a domestic (i.e. general waste) nature together with general recycling. This contract also includes the provision of skips across the county.
